IKnow Media Launch Party

As you know the very fabulous designer brand IKnow by Timsy & Siddhartha Mittal recently launched their online website where you can see all their latest collection and know what's happening plus you can easily shop what you like.
They just had their media launch party in New Delhi a few days back and it was just great. The ambiance  the light chill in the air made for a great evening. Great clothes, good food & champagne, what more can you ask for?

Timsy looked stunning in that short star printed dress and cropped jacket & Siddhartha who dressed up in smart jacket look were the definitely the stars of the evening. Not to mention they were both wore IKnow clothing.

The guests included prominent fashion designers from Delhi, Vogue's senior stylist from India & Middle East,  editors of explosive fashion, people from Google Team, Fashion & You, Eshop Box, models, bloggers Friends & Family.

It was a great night celebrating a wonderful start for IKnow.

IKnow is an exclusive designer wear brand developed by two very diverse people, Timsy, a trained fashion designer graduated from Pearl Academy of fashion and Siddhartha, who has mastered his management skill to add commercial viability to the brand.

The brand focuses on the silhouette and loves to work with different fabrics, materials, techniques.

You will find a mixture of ethnic references with modern twists, blended with the latest trends in their designer clothes. 

As you can see the women wear collection, all the clothes have a sense of style and trend in them which makes them exceptionally good. The entire collection is made up of similar stylish wear.

And that's not all. They also have men's wear. Stylish, classy & masculine sum up their men's wear collection.

What Now?

With the pressure of the exhibition and the launch of my label gone now, I got some time to relax and think about the bigger question ...... What next?

Although I haven't figured that out yet, I thought it would be a nice idea to share the collection here.

This cute little dress in yellow and maroon combination is perfect for this festive season. It has two shades of yellow and maroon straps, with detailing in two shades of green.

This little yellow dress, has a cute collar and keyhole at the back. Made in pure cotton with beautiful hand woven motifs all over, this makes for a festive wardrobe staple.

Anra at Textures 2012

So as I was saying...We launched our first collection at Textures, a fashion exhibition, in Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi last week.

The response was very good! People loved the collection. We were fortunate to have Shaily Khera of Confessionz of a Closet and Bhavna Yadav of Muse~Me and u styled for eternity cover the event, which will be up on their blogs soon.

A new beginning....

Apologies for such a long absence and for not updating before!

I had mentioned somewhere before that I am working on a project. Well it started off the day I started getting bored of my mundane job and decided that it was time to start up things on my own. But there were some financial problems. So I started setting up my studio slowly and steadily. And then suddenly one day a friend of mine called me up and asked me if I would be interested in setting up an exhibition!

Then started the most busiest month in my life as of yet! In only 45 days, I bought a sewing machine, hired a tailor, bought loads of beautiful fabrics, and designed and produced about 30-35 pieces which became part of my first collection!

Also, in the mean time I also did the branding of my brand, with a little help from a friend!

So let me introduce you to - Anra 

"Anra is a clothing line that offers graceful dresses and tunics made with exquisite Jamdani figured cotton fabrics straight from the villages of West Bengal. Jamdani, a process of weaving fine cotton in beautiful motifs, consuming numerous hours of hard work is an almost dying craft. So two of my very good friends and great designers and me put up an exhibition launching our individual collections in New Delhi.

Beetles on my neck....

My mom and dad's birthday fall one day after the other so since my sister was leaving the next day, we decided to take them out to dinner on day after mom's birthday! We went to 'Aaheli', a beautiful restaurant serving authentic bengali cuisine in the most homely atmosphere.

The food was delicious like home-made food and the hospitality was superb.

So I was wore my black skinny jeans with my Vero Moda black blouse.

The detailing on the blouse is not visible so I took this picture from a website.
